3. Corsets can be very expensive and prices range from $100 and upwards. If you do consider buying one, make sure you determine a budget before you go out and get one.

4. If you are a very tall lady, it is best to buy a corset with a long trunk corset.

5.  If you wear a corset to lose weight, it important that you take it off during the night or purchase a specially designed sleeping corset. It can feel very uncomfortable if you wear it for too long.

6. Some materials allow the corset to stretch a bit more than normal whereas other corsets cover your belly tightly.  The cheaper materials usually don’t retain their elasticity as well as the expensive option. Some of these expensive corsets have steel within it to reinforce the corset and make a better fit.
